Discount Bookings with Armidale

Well laid out town with great options for restaurants, plenty of beautiful buildings and churches to look at. See Saw was a great breakfast coffee shop to fuel up for a big adventurous day. The city mall center has great potential but the vibe has been affected by economic troubles.

Highly recommend the Country Comfort. Very helpful and the room was beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail and the cleanliness and comfort was exceptional. Beautiful renovation Country Comfort and we’ll be staying again next time we visit Armidale

It is value for money. Rooms are big and comfortable. Although room advertised when I booked on line was for ground floor garden view room with private access . It was a room upstairs and entrance through main foyer.

In the city ,the locals appeared rough as guts. Make sure to lock your doors, balaclava wearing youths watch you everywhere you go. Surrounding Nat parks are worth a visit but don't feel compelled to visit Armidale again. Take a travel buddy, I went solo.

Beautiful country town, with heritage in abundance. Yes, it was hit hard by COVID; but it is holding on strong. Plenty of coffee shops to enjoy and with a short 15/20 min drive you can explore Uralla too. Armidale is not just a University town it is a quality, friendly country town with so much to offer.

There are a lot of nice restaurants and cafes in Armidale. It is very easy to find a different meal every night. You also have your major supermarkets to rely on as well. There is a taxi service that operates around town, but you may have to book early if you are in a hurry to get anywhere. However, everything closes very early, and few shops are open on Sundays. The main part of town is pretty deserted after about 5 PM. I was only there for an intensive school at the University of New England and didn't drive to Armidale, so there may be more to do in the surrounding towns. If you are only going there for the university, the town serves its purpose. I'm not terribly sure what you are meant to do here as a tourist. It also gets very cold in winter, so pack for it!
