It is relaxing and beautiful. Great to walk around and just look at the surrounds. Leeuwin lighthouse has always been a favourite of mine. We had lunch from the bakery. Had the evening meal in our unit. We enjoyed the museum.

Loved our stay at Sheoak Chalets. We enjoyed watching the changing scenery over the farm land to the Blackwood River. The chalets were very clean and had all that we needed. Would definitely recommended for people who want a relaxing break in nature. Can't wait to go back in the winter, get the pot belly burning and enjoy a glass of red on the verandah.

Loved it all. Fishing boat harbour definitely worth the visit, very well done. Flinders Bay was very peaceful and would be a great family beach. It's a small town, very easy to navigate and locals were very friendly and helpful.

Augusta is a lovely area in the south western corner of WA. We were there for 2 nights and ate at the hotel both night as we were staying there. We can highly recommend the hotel and their meals but the accommodation on site is of poor standard.

We were meeting up with friends who were camping nearby at Turner caravan park, this turned out to be two minutes walk away. Just perfect. Augusta is delightful with beautiful scenery and great wineries not far away. Great walking trails too. The hotel does great bar meals and has a wood burner. The Colour Patch is a cafe and restaurant at night. Not open early in the week.

Clean, spacious, it has everything you need, comfortable bed with crisp clean linen. Walking distance to the hotel where you can have a beer whilst enjoying the view over the river. Good communication throughout and we were upgraded to a better room by the owners. Thanks, we loved the unit

Room was big, tidy and towels were included. The room could've had a few more facilities included, it was pretty much a hostel but with linen and towels included. However the family who work there were super friendly and the location is walking distance to the main part of town.

The location was amazing as it was just a short walk to most of shops/cafes in Augusta. The hot tub was a real highlight as well as the nice balcony out front. We also really appreciated the little touches like coffee pods and condiments that were provided.

Amazing view! Living area was very spacious so even with a bit of a windy day we could enjoy the view from the lounge and be comfortable. Bedrooms were big as well and the house had everything you need for a weekend in Augusta.
