Bargara is a lovely beachside town near Bundaberg, Queensland. There are drives to many places but we went to Tinaberries on two occasions. The ice creams there are absolutely the BEST and can be enjoyed in their farm surrounds. Good food is available at the Bargara Golf Club which also has a wonderful view of the sea. The Bargara Beachside Hotel and Asian Cuisine also have very good meals at reasonable prices, but they are not haute cuisine. Visitiing the Bundaberg Rum Factory is a must, and will be enjoyed. This is a place to relax and we did not go out every day,

A good town for a relaxing break, good golf courses and plenty of accommodation. A good pub, a good Bowlo, a few restaurants, great walking track,and a couple of golf courses. What more could one want !

10 Bargara is the perfect size not too big, not too crowded so...

Bargara is the perfect size not too big, not too crowded so perfect to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The foreshore is kept very tidy and walkway was lovely for walks. Everything was within walking distance. We enjoyed a great Birthday meal at the Chinese Rest., delicious, and service was excellent. Totally enjoyed our stay, look forward to returning.

I use to live in Bargara many years ago and loved living there. I enjoyed walks along the Esplanade and I found it a laid back community with lots going for it and It's not far from Bundy with all its city amenities.

Beautiful seaside town. Lovely residents always willing to suggest the best places to swim and eat. Lovely cafes, clubs, pubs and shops. Best part of our stay was the safe beach called the basin where we spent most of our time. Ideal for people who like to walk

Bargara is a lovely quiet spot with many accommodation options right on the water and eating options for outdoors eating. Bargara during school holidays is frantic so it was lovely to enjoy its casual and laid-back flavour.

Bargara Blue is a well maintained property and our apartment was bright, light, very clean and tastefully appointed. The lounge furniture and beds were very comfortable and everything you need is provided. We particularly liked the location so near the beach yet with places to eat, cafes, take away, bakery and few shops very close by. The apartment was ideal for two couples travelling together and would be perfect for a family. We wish our stay had been longer and would choose to return if in the area in future.

We stayed in a powered cabin and would definitely not stay here again, staff were abrupt and condescending, the mattress was uncomfortable and the rooms had a smell of sewerage. It was very over priced for a caravan park. The only good thing is the location, very close to the beach.

We loved the location was in walking distance of restaurants, play ground, beach and swimming areas. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable which I dont say lightly as I normally cant sleep in hotel beds. The staff where really friendly and helpful.

Every room looks out to the ocean and from the top floor the view is fantastic. The hotel isn't super flash but everything is solid - good bed, nice sheets, fine bathroom. Location is great. Right in the middle of Bargara on the ocean.
