10 Our first time at Hamilton Island with our sons aged 15 and...
Our first time at Hamilton Island with our sons aged 15 and 10. So much to do for families, every day was a new adventure. Highlights were the jetsking safari, navigating the island with a golf cart, beautiful warm weather and quad bike tours. Booked the half day to Whitehaven beach and didn’t enjoy at all. $470 for a family to be stuck on a beach with zero shade in the sun. Wasn’t brave enough to rush being stung by the jellyfish, even with the stinger suits on. Therefore, nothing to do but cook on the sand. Very overrated Beach. Other than that, great family holiday.

View was Amazing. Lovely customer service. Bathroom Room & noise was the most disappointing. The only two reasons of not really wanting to go back. Also Disappointing no free water available and to pay for late check out and how expensive the breakfast.

10 Hamilton Island is the most sophisticated & modern resort on...
Hamilton Island is the most sophisticated & modern resort on the Great Barrier Reef and absolutely world class. There are daily direct jet services to its own airport from all Major East Coast Cities. The Island is exceptional in every way, beautiful gardens across the entire island, private cars are not allowed only service vehicles but there is a fully sealed road network covering the entire island and accessible by EV golf buggies that are either provided free with most apartment accomodation or are available to rent for all hotel guests. Lots of shops, restuarants and a huge range of modern accomodation. Every type of water sport, sailing, boating, helicopter rides, sunset cruises, a golf course 10 minutes by boat.

Amazing holiday destination except the closing times of many businesses is strange. You have to organise yourself around this unexpected complication. Everything is expensive but is mostly high quality.

The Island itself was great, good pool areas, nice beaches, bit hilly to walk around, recommend a golf cart, there is a bus that goes at various times. Food is limited but very good, just a bit on the expensive side. The Reef View Hotel is a bit dated but is it ok for the location and view. I would say that 5 to 6 days is plenty to see and relax in time wise. Glad I got there and it's definitely worth a trip to at some point.

Felt quiet ahead of Yacht Race week. Plan ahead to avoid disappointment. Golf Club was our favourite - book a lunch a there, it's amazing. Bommie's meal was disappointing this time around.

The property was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was great having wifi at the property as a few of us were working remotely during our stay. The apartment was in the perfect location as it is close to the marina and IGA. It was also very handy having the buggy included as part of the accomodation. It made it very easy to move around the island and go exploring. Maree was lovely to deal with. She was patient, kind, and accomodating. We will be recommending this place to anyone who travels to Hamilton Island.

Luxury accommodation in a great location. The views are spectacular. We saw whales from the balcony two days running. Having a buggy included made it easy to access the beach, pools, supermarket and restaurants when we wanted to and then enjoy the tranquility of our apartment. We had 7 adults and two children in our group and there was plenty of space. Highly recommend.

The wonderful location with amazing sea view, excellent facilities, airport pick up and handy use of the buggy to get around Hamilton Island. Frangipani apartments are conveniently located at the end of Catseye Beach close to the beach for a dip and right next to the start of the walking trails.

Amazing stay at Beachfront Hamilton Island. David and Carol were wonderful hosts providing everything needed for a great stay - walking trail maps, tide times etc. Having my own buggy was incredibly helpful and a great way to explore the island. View from the apartment impeccable. Will return!

Excellent staff. Efficient, nice, and helpful. The environment is great too. We can directly walk to the beach from our room. Breakfast can be delivered to the room so we can enjoy the view from our room with breakfast. This is the best resort/hotel that I have ever stayed in.

The room was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the ocean, neighbouring islands, beach and pool. Having a nice and equipped kitchen was definitely a bonus at the accommodation, especially on Hamilton Island where the pricing for food can be quite expensive every night.
