Discount Bookings with Metung

Metung is a beautiful secluded village with stunning marina, charming shops, beautiful views, fabulous food and super friendly locals welcoming us to town at all our interactions. We enjoyed total relaxation at the Metung Hot Springs, having been to the Peninsula Hot Springs, we were keen to visit the East Gippsland version - be aware this is a big venture under construction and does not have the full number of hot pools as does the Peninsula version; but don't let that hold you back ! While there are less pools, it is definitely worth your time for the relaxation and to support this fabulous development. We loved our meals at Cafe Chez Joe, delicious Beef Rendang and our dinner at the Metung Hotel, freshest seafood and beautiful views. They were 'booked out', but we wandered in at 7.15 and we were provided a table straight away. The market was filled with talent, the bakery had some lovely fare and The Local has delicious pizza and a great array of the best salads. We stayed in lovely accommodation in a natural bushy environment. The water front accommodation looks fabulous - maybe next time, however we were super happy with our accommodation at Gilly's Guesthouse and we will definitely return to Gilly's and to Metung!

Nice cosy place away from all the hustle and bustle. Beautiful scenery, lovely place to watch sunset. Highly recommend Metung Hot Springs, a piece of heaven that is so good for the soul. Lakes entrance is only 10mins drive. Everything you need from the Metung Village is only a hop skip and a jump.

We loved the serenity and the natural atmosphere, the Hotsprings were so relaxing and the Glamping tents were definitely glam! Beautifully designed with mixture of modern and rustic elements, bed was amazingly comfortable, wanted to take it home! We had a lovely time, the welcome packs and nibbles/drinks were nice as was the delivery of breakfast in the morning. Definitely will come back again.

A very relaxing and peaceful place. Great walk from accommodation along the boardwalk into town where we had a delicious meal at the Metung Hotel and breakfast at the local cafe. Food and drinks at both places were amazing.

Although i know Gippsland quite a bit base on my past experience in Gippsland as a student. I didnt know Metung until recent visit to the hotspring. It is surprise to see Metung as a little small town and a lot of new housing near to the hotspring can can be high cost. But those first time visit, the dinning option is not much choice as not much restaurant provide dinner and this is why this is always full before reservation. So choosing a holiday unit with kitchen is helpful and bring some grocery if you have kids to save some cost. Beer price in the store can be comparable with other melbourne suburb.

This was my third time to this gorgeous town. It's much quieter than Lakes Entrance but that is the appeal. Surrounded by water it is a great boating destination with boat hire for those who don't own one and you don't need a licence for certain boats. Take your boat to the beautiful 90 mile beach and the lakes are super clear and beautiful to swim in. Metung doesn't have a decent beach as such but you can boat to some stunning beaches or drive to Lakes Entrance for either a beach or lakeside swim and sun bake. Great family holiday destination

1. Location - peaceful, across the road from Metung board walk and lake. 2. Spacious - large open plan kitchen, dining and living room combined, one bedroom, bathroom (with a shower), toilet and balcony. 3. Free Wifi and Netflix. 4. Well equipped, modern kitchen (coffee machine was a bonus). 5. Washing machine. 6. Toiletries were provided. 7. Reverse cycle A/C. 8. Access to games room, swimming pool and sauna.

We loved the location, close to town of Metung so walking wasn’t an issue. Everything in the property was well thought out for your stay & I mean everything, even down to Salt & Pepper, lots of condiments for you. The Host was very good with information and reply’s, nothing was a bother for her. Thanks Sue.

beautiful location and a wonderful terrace house overlooking the water. my toddler loved the swimming pool (I did too)!! all amenities we needed for a weeks stay. lovely walk along the boardwalk to Metung village (approx 25 minutes). wonderful and friendly hosts. we can’t wait to visit again.

The location is very handy. 20mins drive to Lake Entrance or 10 mins down to Metung for boat hire. The view was stunning, it never bored me even with a day of doing nothing. Greg is very nice and responsive, the cottage is very clean and in top condition. We will absolutely come back.

Spacious, modern, clean accommodation in a quiet, peaceful setting not far out of Metung village. A very comfy bed. We enjoyed the morning sun on the deck. Basics like tea and coffee provided, and even bird seed to feed the local visitors! Excellent communication from the host.

Metung Waters is in an excellent central location being close to the Metung hotel, shops, restaurants as well as the water ways of the Gippsland Lakes. Our room was well equiped, clean and very spacious.

Perfect location (just a short pleasant walk to the town). Our cabin/villa was great for a family holiday (including our small puppy). Metung is a lovely little town. I’m sure we’ll be back

We had a great stay at The View in Metung. The house was spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view over the water was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was not provided. Location was excellent, about 200 metres to Metung hotel and the rest of the village. Cottage was very comfortable.

The layout and features of this apartment are great. The jetty is great. The Metung pub is great.
