What guests said about Seventeen Seventy

10 The 1 hour LARC adventure tour was incredible.
The 1 hour LARC adventure tour was incredible. Our tour guide, Ant, was so knowledgeable and passionate about the environment. We will return to Seventeen Seventy so that we can do the7 hour tour. The Marina Cafe serves great coffee and breakfasts as well as one of the best vanilla slices ever eaten. The KBar is a must for an afternoon drink and to watch the sunset. The Rust Pelican does great fish and chips. The Captain Cook memorial and the Bustard lookout are a must see as was the paper bark trail. Just beautiful! We had a fantastic meal at Drift & Wood in at Agnes Water and sat and listened to the music.

We went to 1770 to do the daylong larc trip but were not prepared for how hard the ride is s the seats are hard plastic and at times the ride is quite violent. still we saw and experienced sites that can only be accessed using the larc

10 Relaxed seaside town, with many tour options.
Relaxed seaside town, with many tour options. Food and drink at the marina in the evening is excellent and it's a great place to watch the sunset. The surrounding district is beautiful and fun to explore, especially if you have a capable 4WD to venture into the national park. If you're into sand driving, there are a few great tracks for that. Fishing options from bay, to rock, to surf and also charters.

10 Beautiful beaches.
Beautiful beaches. The Captain Cook Holiday Village is perfectly placed with easy access into Agnes Water & 1770. Town facilities are accessible & everyone was friendly & welcoming. There is plenty of non beach activities to do I.e camping, bush walking & 4WD. It’s definitely a place we will visit often.

The tranquility and views were stunning, situated in the heart of seventeen seventy, everything was within walking distance from the beach, resturant, marina, Lark tour and the iconic great barrier 1770reef tour just to name a few, the property was cosy, quiet and very private with everything you need. We stayed for 8 days and enjoyed every single day finding many hidden gems all over 1770 and Agnes waters and learnt so much of the history of this iconic little town, priceless. See you again soon
