It’s a big country town so lacks the intimacy of small towns with a community feel. The views from Oxley lookout were spectacular. The country music hall of fame exhibits were excellent. Main Street at night is very pretty. Motorcycle museum was fantastic.

For Tamworth to be known at the country music capital of Australia I was disappointed that there was not one pub or club known for having country music . Other than that it was okay . We visited the Golden Guitar. The look out was a great view . The kids park is great for the kids . Other than that not much to do in Tamworth . No we’re near Nashville. Maybe we need to visit when country music festival is on but don’t need to visit Nashville when the CMA is on to have fun or listen to country music or visit a country music bar .

We went to the Oxley lookout and it was fabulous. You can see right back to the ranges, such a beautiful scenic view overlooking Tamworth. Tamworth is easy to get around and has an extensive range of shops.

Good restaurants and bars close by. The main street is exceptionally clean and easy to get around. We went to The Welder's Dog for a drink. We ate at The Pig & Tinder Box which was fabulous. We had a drink at the CH Boutique Hotel on the way to The Press Basement Bar for some fantastic music to finish the evening. We went to Goonoo Goonoo Station Glasshouse Restaurant for breakfast the next morning which was fabulous as always, fantastic food and staff.

10 Tamworth is a delightful country town.
Tamworth is a delightful country town. The sports and equestrian facilities are outstanding. The Golden Guitar is well worth a visit and there are several great eating places. We recommend the Glasshouse Restaurant, the Pig and Tinder Box and Carmen's Italian. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Stockmans Motel located in a delightful rural setting not far from town.

10 Tamworth is a really nice/great place to visit.
Tamworth is a really nice/great place to visit. It has lovely scenery, good places to go. Just a great place. Their Equestrian Center is out on its own. I ate Opporto Chicken. Their chicken is sooo nice. It is very easy to get/go places. I was just passing through this time, as I was on my way home.The Country Music Festival is the best activity for everyone.

We have stayed at Country Capital a couple of times now, and it will always be our first choice when visiting Tamworth. Edward was helpful and accommodating of our check-in needs, The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot cooked breakfast.... bacon, eggs, sausages, etc included in the price presents excellent value for money. And the food in the restaurant is delicious. and meant that after a long day of driving, we didn't have to leave the premises to get dinner. Delicious and convenient!

Private garden, all the amenities, easy access to main route and everything you could possibly need or do in Tamworth. Very comfortable quiet sleep in a roomy bed, kitchen well stocked, amazing bathroom and shower, plenty of light and ambiance. keyless coded entry & Netflix were both bonuses! a first class stay - highly recommended!

A great spot in Tamworth with well appointed rooms that are stylish, practical, and comfortable. The hotel is on the main road into town, but the rooms are quiet and can be made welcomly dark. The hotel also has great facilities that would suit both leisure and business travellers. The restaurant was booked out while we were there, but they also offer room service.

One of the best motels I've stayed in, definitely the best in Australia by a long way. Everything was done well, the cleanliness was A1 without the usual smell of chemical cleaners..... Instead there was a very pleasant room air freshener. The bed was extremely comfortable, I will always stay here in future if going through Tamworth. A+++++++++++

The reception welcome was very friendly and courteous. The property appeared to be well maintained and the room was large, well cleaned and very comfortable. We have been staying in Tamworth, as a stopover location, for more than a decade and have never stayed here - big mistake. Would certainly recommend this Motor Inn.
