What guests said about Wagga Wagga

8 Wagga Wagga has plenty to see and do.
Wagga Wagga has plenty to see and do. We enjoyed the indoor pool, the local cafe's and pubs and also visited the botanical gardens which has a miniature steam railway that you can take a passenger ride on. There is a zoo in the gardens and the gardens are very spacious with lots of different types of plants and various zones to discover. The river flowing through Wagga has various walks along the banks and there are lots of parks and gardens in town. Something for the whole family!

Wagga Wagga is a nice country town with city facilities. I have visited this place several times over the years, but never stayed longer than a couple of nights. Will have to stay a bit longer next time to do some more exploring.

10 Visited the Wagga Civic theatre for a music show.
Visited the Wagga Civic theatre for a music show. Great small entertainment venue with great views and sound from any seat in the house. So many different choices for dining options in varios locations. Entertainment also available at a number of different venues. Parking can be an issue in the central area but choosing the right accommodation can place you within walking distance to many services, functions and activities. Taxi and Uber services are viable options if location is an issue.

We stayed here for 2 nights and what a beautiful, well-maintained place. As a family I would 100% recommend this place to live for families. The town had so many retail shops to offer it has everything! Endless things for families/kids the botanical gardens are amazing AMAZING and included train rides for $4, pony rides, free Zoo and Avery area the kids they even got to pat and feed them, 3 different kids parks, cafe, botanical gardens, museums and train museum. Throughout the town they had bowling, flip out, Lazer tag, more parks, skating, gymnastics, cinemas, Noah's ark indoor play center! The wagga beach and the adventure park were a must, they also had another little park there as well as a new entertainment area / stage and behind that a pump track! Walking and driving around wagga was nice, it was clean and well maintained. It's a well spread-out place, even though it's a big and busy place the traffic was easy fine, parking was easy. It definitely would be a lovely place to live.

10 Wagga Wagga is situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee...
Wagga Wagga is situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and is the largest inland city in NSW. The township and its surrounds has much to offer the tourist - leafy parklands and gardens, galleries, museums, restaurants or wineries - be it a 2/3 or 4 day stay you will find this fabulous regional NSW town gets under your skin. Steeped in history the Riverina district is best known for its sheep, wheat and cattle farming. An easy drive 4-5 hour drive from Sydney....Wagga can be enjoyed and explored over a long or extra long weekend.

10 I love Wagga Wagga it is a really great quaint township.
I love Wagga Wagga it is a really great quaint township. The people are so friendly and there are some beautiful shops and restaurants. If you want the best pizza head to Giuseppe's. There are great parks and galleries as well. It is a country town so be prepared for it to look like a ghost town after midnight.
